A unique aspect of Soluri Architecture is that although we’re a small firm, we work locally, nationally and internationally.
Local: Founded in NYC over 10 years ago, Soluri Architecture has a significant body of work and depth of experience within New York City and the surrounding metro area. This includes dozens of renovations in all categories, as well new buildings. The firm has expertise in the various NYC Building Codes (going back to 19280, the current NYC Zoning Resolutions, and the NY Landmarks Preservation Commission. Principal Soluri typically prepares dozens of zoning analysis for local developers each year and often assists in determining the feasibility of development projects. The firm has broad network of many contacts and colleagues throughout the city and is able to pull together teams of engineers, consultants and contractors for any type of project.
National: Principal Andre Soluri is a member of the American Institute of Architects, (AIA) and is licensed to practice architecture in the US states of New York, New Jersey and Washington State where the firm has designed & built projects. Because he is also NCAARB certified, Andre can quickly obtain licensure in any other state throughout the United States through reciprocity. The firm gained experience working on distant projects during the UP Civic Building, when principal Soluri (and occasionally the project team) would typically fly to Seattle every 2 weeks during the design & documentation phases. As a result, we’re able to handle projects through-out the country.
International: Soluri Architecture has a satellite office in London where it has completed 2 projects to date and has worked for 2 London based clients with projects in NYC. Because principal Soluri is in London every month, the firm is able to seamlessly work on projects and meet with clients in London. The firm is actively seeking work in London and will be using London as a base for work in Europe and internationally.
