Soluri Architecture gave a presentation today at NYC’s Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD) that demonstrated the tremendous potential in developing the thousands of NYC’s small infill lots and how it could help solve NYC’s affordable housing crisis. The facade for The Vidro was revealed today when the scaffolding that was protecting it was removed. The sculptural & faceted all-glass facade features both blue and clear glass and was designed to respond to various zoning and space-planning challenges at this new 6 unit condo building in Harlem. SA principal Andre Soluri graduated from the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10000 Small Business program today. He was a member of Cohort 23 in the NYC program which began in January and is run out of Laguardia Community College. Superstructure work is nearing completion at our new boutique condominium building in Harlem. The GC is currently fabricating the formwork for the roof slab, and will soon begin installing rebar in preparation to pour concrete within the next few days. Once the roof is poured, all the remains of the superstructure are the bulkheads for the egress stairways and elevator shaft. We look forward to topping out soon and then beginning the facade installation and
