May 11, 2019

The list of finalists for the 2019 NYCxDesign Awards were published today on Interior Design magazine’s website showing that The Vidro, designed by Soluri Architecture is one of 4 finalists in the Building Exterior category.

We are thrilled that our first new, ground-up building in NYC is considered among the best 4 new building facades and exteriors in NYC for 2019.

We are honored to be among a shortlist of the best and busiest architectural firms in New York which include SHoP Architects, ODA and DXA Studio.

On a personal note, SA principal Andre Soluri is especially honored to be on a shortlist with SHoP because SHoP principal and co-founder Gregg Pasquarelli was a profession and mentor of Andre while he was a graduate student at Columbia University’s GSAPP. SHoP is best known for the design of The Barclays Center; the supertall luxury tower 111 W57th Street which is currently under construction, and American Copper.
