We are honored that our work on the Vidro was recognized with an Honorable Mention in Rethinking the Futures’ “Architecture Construction & Design Awards 2020 “! The objective of this award program is to raise awareness around the strategies Architects and Designers are employing to deal with contemporary global challenges, and to bring the best of such projects into the light to inspire the next generation. The Vidro, which means “glass” in Portuguese, is a unique design-based solution to the technical and economic challenges of building on small urban infill lots, that demonstrates how these challenging sites can become viable for sustainable, community-oriented development. This is the 3rd award bestowed on the Vidro this year and the 5th award the Vidro has received.
