We are honored to have received 2 Design Awards of Honor from the NY Council of the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) at their awards gala held at the fabulous TWA Hotel!
The projects honored were:
- MPCA – a new 8 floor mixed-use building for a non-profit school in Harlem serving at-risk children. Still in the design phase, the project uses design thinking to tackle the spatial and economic challenges of designing and developing this building so MPCA can own the building outright at completion.
- Pro-Bono Outdoor Dining – volunteer work we did during the pandemic to design outdoor dining for struggling NYC restaurants. Our two projects were used as examples of the entire Design Corps program which we also helped cofound last year along with @nycedc @nycxdesign @centerforarch @designadvocates
