The Design Corps was named a Finalist in the prestigious international Architizer A+ Awards in the “Architecture +For Good” category.
Soluri Architecture principal Andre Soluri is one of the co-founders of the Design Corps, and this award is the result of a group submission by all the co-founders including NYC EDC, AIANY, Design Advocates and NYCxDESIGN.
The Design Corps was launched in the summer of 2020 as a platform for the architecture and design community in NYC to provide pro-bono services to restaurants and other small business struggling to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. SA principal Andre Soluri initiated the application to this award and co-led the preparation of this group submission with Lindsey Mayer from NYC EDC.
