The Design Corps ha been named a winner in the prestigious 2021 NYCxDesign Awards in the “Outdoor Dining” category! The award is the result of a group submission by all of the co-founders including NYC EDC, AIANY, Design Advocates and NYCxDESIGN.
The Design Corps was launched in the summer of 2020 as a platform for the architecture and design community in NYC to provide pro-bono services to restaurants and other small business struggling to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. SA Principal, Andre Soluri is one of the co-founders of the Design Corps (along with NYC EDC, AIANY, Design Advocates and NYCxDESIGN) and initiated the application to this award and co-led the preparation of this group submission with Lindsey Mayer from NYC EDC.
