MPCA is an Honoree in the 2021 NYCxDESIGN Awards

May 10, 2021

For the third year in a row, Soluri Architecture has been named a Finalist and Honoree in the NYCxDesign Awards! This year, our work-in-progress submission for the mixed-use building we are currently designing for MPCA in Harlem has been named an Honoree in the “Work on the Boards – Commercial” category!

MPCA is a non-profit school in Central Harlem that teaches disadvantaged, at- risk children who require specialized attention not possible in typical schools. Our proposed mixed-use residential rental building combines the project’s design, development, and construction into a singular, unified design solution that empowers this local non- profit organization to self-develop this new building that expands their school while creating affordable and market-rate housing that will generate long- term revenue, allowing MPCA to serve their community in perpetuity

The NYCxDESIGN Awards are sponsored by Interior Design magazine and ICFF as a global design competition celebrating the outstanding products and projects of New York City across major areas of design. According to their website the “Winners and Honorees, representing the very best design talent” are selected by “a jury of design industry leaders”
